Country Character, Apartment Living

This one-bedroom apartment was thoughtfully designed for a gentleman transitioning from his longtime country home into senior living. With mobility and walker accessibility in mind, we prioritized open pathways, appropriately scaled furnishings and an easy-to-maintain layout. Treasured artwork and equestrian pieces from his former home were paired with new furniture selected to complement his traditional style, creating a space that feels familiar and personal without feeling crowded.

Every detail was considered around how he would actually live in the space—from selecting a bed at a comfortable height for easier access to strategic furniture placement, artwork installation and complete TV setup. Nolan Home coordinated the furnishings and transition of his personal belongings, then unpacked, arranged and styled the apartment so that when he arrived, everything was in place and it already felt like home.
